How We Give Back
Eco Operations
Our sustainable building practices include using locally sourced and reclaimed materials — our restaurant is made entirely out of wood from a decommissioned fishing boat! Solar panels run a large share of our electricity needs on site, alongside rain gardens, bioseptic, energy efficient design, and a seasonal menu in our café that’s locally sourced where possible. We responsibly dispose of our waste, including recycling and compost.
Ocean Conservation
We host regular beach cleanups and partner with local organisations working to keep our ocean clean and vibrant.
Community First
Shipwrecked gives back by contributing to local organisations doing great work in Lombok — like providing swim lessons, education, and cultural exchange. When you stay at Shipwrecked, you help fund causes that make a difference!
